A Chicago native, Ron began his education as a Catholic school student until he left home for college at the age of 17. Ron completed his undergraduate career at Clark Atlanta University (CAU), where he majored in Criminal Justice.
Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Ron attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law. During this time, he worked as a graduate assistant where he had the unique opportunity to look at student affairs through a legal lens. After graduating from law school, Ron began his career in higher education and also received his Master's Degree in Human Resources from the University of Cincinnati.
Ron is passionate about serving the community through his career, talents, and interests.

JARAY MAZIQUE, Ed.D.

Jaray is originally from Newark, NJ where she grew up as the youngest of nine children in her home. Jaray earned her undergraduate degree in English from William Paterson University.
Jaray has enjoyed a long career in higher education administration, she has a Master's Degree in Postsecondary Education from Salisbury University, and in 2021, completed her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Georgia State University.
Throughout her life, she has explored entrepreneurship (as a former franchisee of Rita's) but has come to realize that higher ed is where her passion and purpose meet.
